Hiya Loup,

Well...I suppose how it tasted would have depended on the skill of the cook, the weather conditions the ship was experiencing, and how long the stuff had been in storage. Some of it must have gotten pretty ripe towards the end of the trip. Dad always said that hunger makes the best sauce!
