How I Made My Pan Brush.

I recieved an email today from one of this blog's followers, asking me how I made my pan brush. So here it is.


I made my pan brush with horse hair. I gathered it as you can see much like the head of a birch broom, then bound it with linen thread. The chain is attached using copper wire.


This is my youngest son's pan brush, which belonged to a close family friend of ours, the late Shane Murphy. I can't say if it is an original or not.
