Thanks for the link! Im looking to start hunting and trapping rabbit but might have to learn more judging from this article.

I also wanted to mention to anyone interested that I have started a forum for Bushcraft in Australia. I hope that this will fill the void which exists for an Australian specific bushcraft forum. With such a vastly unique set of plants and animals as well and ecosystems I believe this would be a good place for like-minded wood-lore, bushcraft and outdoor enthusiasts to discuss and learn.

The forum is still available to all at: www.bushcraftoz.com/forums/forum.php

I will gladly join your forum Irrelevant. This is long overdue.
Thank you.

Hi Loup!

This was a good illustration of "The Law Of Unintended Consequences". Reminds me of the fellow who introduced Starlings to the U.S., so all the birds mentioned in Shakespeare could be on this side of the pond. (What were they thinking?!)

I look back with shame at my childish empathy with Peter Rabbit. I am now a great fan of Farmer MacGregor.

Well I have to agree with you Martin, but I must also admit that I do like seeing rabbits around the place. Memories of the old country.
