Very ornate and unusual. Are the white eyes from the "meat" inside, or is there ivory or something applied inside, I wonder.

Don't know Gorges, perhaps it is just white paint on the outside.

Simply amazing. Despite being very familiar with coconuts and regularly using them, I have never seen anything like this.

I have seen a plain looking one too, I think it had a pewter insert for the spout and it had a lock on it. An excellent choice for a container when you think about it.
