What's In The Bag.

I am continually being asked, what do you carry in your knapsack and how much does it weigh. This video answers those questions.

Thank you for the video...enjoyed it very much. It is amazing in many ways just how little you need for survival and yet so very important. In today's society we "think" we need so much and that becomes our own downfall.

I think you are right Diane. What concerns me also is the loss of traditional skills with the use of modern equipment.

Hello Keith,
Just playing a little catch up before an autumn afternoon trek with Lucy. Excellent post my good man, wasn't going to watch any video clips till the weekend but this one kept me attention all the way through. Excellent bag full of kit, I learn so much from your posts each time, thanks for sharing.
Regards,
John

Hi Loup,

Thanks for sharing the "nickle tour" of your backpack. I must confess that I have a weakness for this kind of thing. I'm curious as to what other folks are lugging around with them. I then compare it with my own stuff to see if there's anything that I can get rid of/replace/or use in a new manner.

In this instance, the carrying of two extra inner soles is inspired, and will be added.
