Belt and Strap Buckles Part Two.


 Above is a brass 18th century belt buckle with an iron tongue.
 This is my belt pouch on my equipment belt. You will see it has an 18th century brass buckle with an iron tongue. The belt pouch has a 17th century brass "D" buckle with an iron tongue similar to those below.

This brass buckle still on the leather belt was found on "Gunnister Man" in a bog, & is dated to about 1700 AD.
