A New Look! Tell me what you think please.
The fact that the videos were partly cut off has bugged me for ages, also there seemed to be a lot of wasted space. So on the spur of the moment today I took the risk of changing things! Let me know what you think, is anything wrong with it?
Now you've got the same problem as me, any text colours other than white and orange disappears into the background. Blogger i supposed to be able to change the formatting of every post at the same time, but I keep finding posts that are only partially visible SBW
Took a little getting used to, guess it's like driving in a different country. But I do have to say it's like a fungus, it grows on you! And I like it. John
Well all positive so far. Still a few more votes expected, but looks like I made a good choice. Jessie thinks it looks great, & she follows more blogs than you can shake a stick at, so it must be okay. I like that I can use larger images & get full view of videos. Keith.

I think it looks great!
I think it looks crisp and 'clean'. Thumbs up here!
Not bad Keith... like the changes...

Thank you all, so far so good.
I can't tell you why, but I prefer this to the earlier avatar. Somehow, it looks less cluttered.
I like! Much easier to read.

Hi Keith,
The contrast between the background and the print makes it easier on my ol' eyes. A big "Thumbs Up" from here in Indiana.
Martin
Yes I agree Martin, good one. Thank you.
Keith.
A risk worth taking, Keith.. It looks very good.
Only one thing I would swap around: Under the title, i'd put 18TH CENTURY LIVING HISTORY IN AUSTRALIA.
And the text would go where 18th century is. But that's me and simply because having text running out of pictures bugs me!
Thanks Joel, my wife agrees with you. I did not do exactly as you recommended, but I did fix the problem.
Regards.
