A little story Keith. Many years ago I had never tasted Mince Meat pie. I was a hard core bear hunter back then, and I always had some bear meat in the freezer. A neighbor told me that he knew a woman who wanted some bear meat for Mince Meat pies. She insisted that it was the best possible meat for the purpose. She would gladly share a pie in exchange for some meat. No problem, I willingly gave her a good sized roast; and yes, the pie was very good.

Good one Bob. I don't hear so much of this sharing/swopping going on these days, a pitty, because it was a sort of tradition at one time.
All the best.
