Running Ball. Part Two.

Hey Loup,

One of the things we do around here when running ball is to nip the sprue off of the last ball (once it has cooled), coat it with a little tallow, and place it back in the mold to keep any dirt or dust out of the cavity by tying the handles together. Another advantage is in the next running ball session, the tallow is burned off when the mold is heated, but the balls come out easier.

Please keep 'em coming!
