Very little if any period accuracy in this movie, but I still like it. That is one of my favourite scenes, but there are more.

I think it is movies like this that get people interested in 18th century living history, mountain men & woodsmen. The good thing is you can recreate all the safe bits and turn a blind eye to the reality of danger.
