By coincidence I re-watched “The Last Of The Mohicans” just a couple of nights ago. Hawkeye rammed the ball down on a piece of silk in his flintlock to make that shot. Claimed it gave him an extra 40 yards.
Possible I dare say Bob, but I would have to test it to be sure.Keith.
