Why they spoil movies by using the wrong period clothing I have no idea, but they do it a lot, and surely it would cost no more to do it right. I could improve some of the costume with a pair of scissors and some leather thong! The unauthentic clothing puts this movie into the B-grade catagory, which is a pitty, but it still may be fun to watch.
My wife hates for me to watch "historic" movies on TV with her. I'm always pointing out the anachronisms.
